The Big Dill Bike Ride: A Pickle-Themed Adventure on Two Wheels
Get ready for a dill-icious day of riding, fun, and unforgettable memories—The Big Dill Bike Ride is rolling through North Iowa, and it's bringing a whole lot of flavor to the cycling scene!
The ride kicks off the morning of Saturday, June 7th from Central Park in Downtown Mason City, sending cyclists on a scenic adventure through some of the area’s most charming towns. Riders can choose from a 60-mile or 77-mile route that winds through Northwood, Carpenter, St. Ansgar, Grafton, and Plymouth before returning to Mason City.
Expect a day filled with fresh air, great company, and plenty of pickle-themed surprises along the way. It’s the perfect way to combine fitness, fun, and community in one memorable ride.
But wait—it’s not just about the ride. The whole weekend is packed with festivities:
- Registration and Pre-Ride Party at Fat Hill Brewing on Friday, June 6th – Check in, grab a drink, and get into ride mode with fellow cyclists.
- Friday Night Live in Downtown Mason City – Stick around for an evening of live music, local eats, and family-friendly festivities.
- Post-Ride Party at Brix Wine & Whiskey on Saturday evening, June 7th– Cap off your ride with good vibes, great drinks, and even better company.
The Big Dill Bike Ride is part of the Iowa Bicycle Coalition’s Summer Training Series, making it a perfect way to gear up for the season ahead.
