Art Class: Capturing the Landscape in Pastels with Instructor Pamela Douglas

Discover the beauty and versatility of pastel while exploring the landscape at the class, Capturing the Landscaping in Pastel with Instructor Pamela Douglas.  This class is Tuesday through Friday, July 14 through July 17 at the Clear Lake Arts Center and Central Gardens of North Iowa.

In this four-day workshop, beginner and intermediate painters will explore nearby locations, gather reference photos, and create value sketches to plan their paintings. Learn how to begin, develop a focal point, create depth using color and value, and build texture through layering pastels.
