Celebrate the 3rd Annual Micronesian Friendship Day on Saturday and Sunday, August 1st and 2nd, at Fredrick Hanford Softball Complex (Main Entrance - 23rd and South Monroe Avenue).
On July 21st, Mayor John Lee presented a Proclamation for “Micronesian Friendship Day.” A special ceremony is taking place on Saturday, August 1st, starting at 8:00 AM. This includes renewing of the Declaration of Friendship between Mason City and Micronesian. Celebrate the Micronesian Culture as you enjoy a two-day softball tournament, celebrating culture, unity and friendship. Softball games are scheduled for 9 AM to 10 PM, both days.
