Songwriter Workshop with JJ Slater

Join musician and songwriter JJ Slater on Sunday, November 8, from 2–5 PM for an intimate songwriting workshop exploring how musical movement can bring emotion, depth, and creativity to original songs. Drawing on his decade of experience blending folk, jazz, and psychedelic rock, Slater will cover techniques such as chord progressions, key changes, voice-leading, and musical motifs to help make songs more engaging and expressive. The workshop will also include a short live performance and an opportunity for participants to share and swap songs they are especially proud of.
