A Delicious Day Downtown: Spring Hop Brunch Crawl Returns May 2nd

Spring is back on the menu in Downtown Mason City with the return of the Spring Hop Brunch Crawl, hosted by Main Street Mason City! This community favorite invites locals and visitors alike to spend a fun-filled Saturday exploring downtown while enjoying brunch-inspired bites, refreshing drinks, exclusive specials, and plenty of springtime energy.

On Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, Downtown Mason City will transform into a walkable brunch destination featuring participating businesses ready to serve up seasonal flavors, unique deals, and welcoming experiences.

 A Brunch Experience Across Downtown
The Spring Hop Brunch Crawl is all about variety and discovery. Attendees are encouraged to stroll through downtown and experience multiple participating locations. Each stop offers something different—whether it’s a signature brunch item, a special drink, or a one-day-only deal.

From local restaurants to retail shops and beyond, the event highlights the creativity and hospitality of Downtown Mason City businesses.

Explore at Your Own Pace
Attendees can pick up an official event map and plan their own downtown adventure. There’s no schedule to follow and no registration required—just show up, explore, and enjoy Downtown Mason City at your own pace.

Bingo, Votes, and Prizes
This year’s Brunch Crawl adds even more fun with a bingo-style experience. Participants can collect stamps at participating stops as they explore downtown, working toward completing their bingo card for a chance to win prizes. Official event maps and bingo cards will be available the day of the event at participating locations and the Mason City Welcome Center, located at 13 N. Federal Avenue. 

Guests will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in categories like:

• Best Brunch Bites
• Best Brunch Sips
• Best Brunch Vibes

It’s a fun way to engage with the event while supporting local businesses and celebrating your favorite offerings.
