SkyView Market was born from a simple question: How can we make it easier for families to buy local food? Third-generation cattle farmers Aaron and Laura Cunningham had spent years raising premium Angus beef near Nora Springs and selling directly to customers. During the grocery shortages of 2020, they saw firsthand how difficult it was for consumers to connect with local farmers and food producers.
Inspired to create a better solution, the Cunninghams transformed a historic 1902 dairy barn into an online and on-farm market where shoppers could find their all-natural Angus beef alongside products from dozens of other North Iowa farmers and makers—all in one convenient place. The market was launched with support from the Iowa Department of Agriculture's Choose Iowa Program and a vision of making local food accessible for busy families.
Today, SkyView Market partners with more than 50 local producers, offering farm-raised meats, dairy, baked goods, produce, pantry staples, gifts, and more.
