CLASS Car Show & Summer Dance Cruise
Get ready for a weekend full of chrome, cruising, and classic rock during the Clear Lake Auto Social Society's (CLASS) Annual Car Show & Summer Dance Cruise! This two-day celebration of vintage vehicles and vibrant community spirit takes place in scenic Clear Lake, Iowa, and features a car cruise, live concerts, and one of the area's premier car shows.
Friday, August 1st: Car Cruise & Concert
Kick off the weekend with a classic car Meet & Greet at the Clear Lake High School Bus Barn starting at 3:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, the engines roar to life as drivers cruise around beautiful Clear Lake. The night wraps up with a rockin’ concert at the legendary Surf Ballroom featuring HEAD EAST. $10 per car (includes two concert tickets)
Saturday, August 2nd: Car Show & Summer Dance
Begin your day with registration and vehicle classification from 8:00–11:30 AM at Clear Lake High School, then roll into downtown Clear Lake for the Show & Shine around City Park from noon to 3:00 PM.
Awards Ceremony at 3:00 PM at the City Park Bandshell
- $500 awarded for Best of Show
- Top 3 trophies across 28 classes
- Dash plaques for the first 500 vehicles
Enjoy music and activities throughout the day, then stick around for a free Summer Dance with The Hepperly Band performing from 6:30–10:00 PM at the Bandshell.
