Color the Wind Kite Festival

Color the Wind Kite Festival returns to Clear Lake on Saturday, February 20th.  Bundle up and enjoy one of the Midwest’s most spectacular winter events as the skies above Clear Lake fill with gigantic, colorful inflatable kites!

Each year, professional kit flyers from across the United States travel to Clear lake to create an unforgettable winter display, transforming the frozen lake into a vibrant outdoor gallery in the sky.  Held annually on the third Saturday in February.  Color the Wind has become a beloved tradition that brings thousands of visitors together to celebrate winter, creativity, and community.  Event is from 11 AM to 4 PM.

Suggested donation for admission is $5 per person.  Use VENMO or look for the donation buckets throughout the event.
