Regional Arts Forum: Mason City
Artists, arts advocates, civic leaders, community organizations, and anyone passionate about strengthening arts and culture are invited to attend the Iowa Arts Council Regional Arts Forum in Mason City on Thursday, September 10th, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM.
The Iowa Arts Council is hosting six Regional Arts Forums across the state in September and October, creating opportunities for Iowans to come together, exchange ideas, and help shape the future of arts and culture in their communities and across Iowa.
This year’s workshops will focus on cross-sector collaboration, exploring how the arts can connect with community development, tourism, education, business, and other sectors to create stronger, more vibrant communities. Attendees will also learn about upcoming Iowa Arts Council programs and funding opportunities for the year ahead.
The forum will provide an opportunity to:
- Connect with artists, arts organizations, civic leaders, and community partners.
- Explore opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
- Share ideas for strengthening arts and cultural experiences across the region.
- Learn about upcoming programs and funding opportunities.
- Provide input on programs supporting arts and cultural enhancement throughout Iowa.
The Regional Arts Forum is free and open to the public, but advance registration is highly encouraged.
