Invest In Mason City

Earth Day is a day to celebrate our earth, as well as a reminder to work towards keeping our earth sustainable and beautiful. Have you ever noticed the electric vehicle charging stations downtown? This is a way that Mason City equips the community to invest in our earth’s well-being. We also want to recognize these local businesses that invest back into Mason City and North Iowa by being environmentally cautious and clean!

Fat Hill Brewing

Fat Hill Brewing located in downtown Mason City is popular for its in-house events throughout the year and of course its craft beverages. Fat Hill strives to be as environmentally friendly as possible. They have done a great job as they have been certified as an Iowa Green Brewery, gold level. Fat Hill achieved this by being conscious of their used resources, recycling, and using local ingredients. You can feel good about having a beer here!

Simply Nourished

A big part of Earth Day is celebrating the earth for what it has to offer naturally. Simply Nourished, a local favorite, has understood this mission. Simply Nourished provides a range of organic and clean grocery items in the North Iowa area. The production of organic foods helps to cut down on chemicals being used (and consumed). This positively invests back into the environment! Stop into their Mason City or Clear Lake location this week to celebrate Earth Day.

Affordables Thrift Store

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Affordables Thrift Store is green for Earth Day all year long. A simple way to pay homage to Earth Day and get some spring cleaning done at the same time, is to finally get to that pile of clothes that doesn’t fit anymore and give them a second life. Affordable is a great place for donations and to thrift as you are helping to support their mission within the community as well. Happy Shopping!
