Nominations Now Open for Local Tourism Champions
Mark your calendar for Visit Mason City’s annual meeting on Thursday, November 6th—an evening dedicated to celebrating the power of tourism in our community.
Each year, this event highlights the people, places, and partners who go above and beyond to create unforgettable visitor experiences and drive economic growth. As we prepare to recognize this year’s standouts, we invite you to submit nominations for the 2025 Tourism & Hospitality Awards.
There are four award categories open for nominations:
- Tourism Excellence Award: Honors a standout event, attraction, or initiative that has significantly elevated Mason City’s tourism appeal and positively impacted the local economy.
- Friend of Tourism Award: Recognizes an individual who has shown exceptional support, leadership, or advocacy for Mason City’s tourism industry.
- Spirit of Tourism Award: Celebrates a business or organization that demonstrates outstanding commitment to welcoming visitors and enriching the local tourism experience.
- Golden Pineapple Hospitality Awards: Chosen by visitors, these awards highlight Mason City’s best hotel, attraction, and restaurant based on traveler feedback and nominations.
This celebration is more than an awards night—it’s a time to reflect on the past year, share gratitude, and look ahead to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for Mason City tourism.
