Groundbreaking Held for New Home2 Suites by Hilton in Downtown Mason City

Exciting progress is underway in downtown Mason City! A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held to celebrate the start of construction on the Home2 Suites by Hilton, part of the community’s River City Renaissance Project. 

The new 88-room extended-stay hotel will be located within the Riverwalk District, adding new lodging options for both leisure and business travelers visiting our community. Once complete, the hotel will connect directly to The Music Man Square via the already completed skywalk, enhancing walkability and accessibility throughout the district.
