Prairie Rock Trails Bike Park Opens with a Buzz

Mason City, Iowa is rolling into a new era of outdoor adventure. On November 12th, riders and spectators gathered at 1500 Elm Drive for the soft opening of the Prairie Rock Trails Bike Park — a one-of-a-kind destination that’s already turning heads across the Midwest.

What was once an industrial site has been transformed into a world-class bike park, designed and built by Rock Solid Trail Contracting, LLC, one of the nation’s premier trail-building companies. The new park features a variety of unique elements that cater to riders of all ages and skill levels — from flow trails and pump tracks to jump lines and technical terrain. It’s a space built for progression, fun, and community.

The excitement stretched far beyond North Iowa. Guest riders from Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Texas traveled to Mason City to be among the first to experience the new park. These seasoned pros brought energy and expertise, testing out every berm, jump, and feature while offering tips and demonstrations that had the crowd cheering.
